About Our Charity
Omid Watan Social and Educational Organization (OWSEO) is a non-political and non-profit humanitarian relief- and development organization which works to provide life essentials, promote individuals and communities’ self-reliance along with integrated activities to achieve enhanced sustainable livelihood. Omid Watan Social and Educational Organization (OWSEO) is initiated during intense internal conflicts on the July 2021 by a group of energetic youth activists, who came together with the objective of improving resilient solidarity, influencing people not to lose hope but to step up and claim their place and space in all spheres of life, raise awareness, equal education right, women empowerment, skills development and providing the emergency needs.
Education is the cornerstone of any nation so as Omid Watan Organization we are aimed to support equal education rights, provide basic education, vocational workshop and trainings for who have been marginalized and/or deprived from education due to poverty, armed conflicts, gender inequality and political instability in order to make them literate and empowered. Omid Watan establishment as a means of contributing and remaining committed to development, educating and meeting communities’ needs which has also been the driving force and motivation. We are focusing on achieving sustainable results from educational activities to Afghan communities, especially with the youth, children, women, disable and indigents.
Omid Watan delivers its activities through the power and spirit of volunteerism approach to build sustainable communities, intercultural exchanges and thriving communities in Afghanistan. We believe in transformation of poverty to hope, obstacles to opportunities, and ignorance to awareness. As Omid Watan Organization we celebrate the rich diversity of our country and praise many individuals and organizations who steadfastly remained committed to the breaking of the cycle of deprivation, marginalization and poverty in Afghanistan.
