A new clean water fountain system was successfully established in Kariz Village, located in Afghanistan’s Takhar province, to ensure the community’s sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water.
This project was implemented by the Omid Watan Social and Educational Organization (OWSEO) with the generous support of our esteemed donor, Mr. Tural Aliyev.

- Water Storage Capacity: 4,000 liters
- Power Source: Solar-powered pumping system
- Drinking Water Point: 5-tap public fountain
- Beneficiary Families: 160
- Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 1,200 people
Thanks to this project, the residents of Kariz Village can now conveniently and sustainably access clean and safe drinking water without having to walk long distances.
The Kariz Village Clean Water Fountain Project represents another significant step in OWSEO’s ongoing efforts to improve living standards and promote community health through clean water initiatives across Afghanistan.
