A new clean water fountain system has been established in Afaqi Village, located in Afghanistan’s Takhar province, to provide the local community with sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water.
This project was successfully completed through the generous support of our esteemed donor, Mrs. Selma Karapunar, and implemented by the Omid Watan Social and Educational Organization (OWSEO).

- Water Storage Capacity: 4,000 liters
- Power Source: Solar-powered pumping system
- Drinking Water Point: 5-tap public fountain
- Beneficiary Families: 200
- Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 1,500 people
Thanks to this project, residents of Afaqi Village can now access clean drinking water safely and conveniently, without the need to walk long distances.
