Winter Relief for Displaced Families in Kabul (2021–2022)
Led by OWSEO – In partnership with IBC and Afghan Red Crescent
During the harsh winter of 2021–2022, as Afghanistan faced one of the deepest humanitarian and economic crises in recent history, OWSEO launched a large-scale emergency winter relief campaign to support displaced families living in Kabul.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, OWSEO collected and organized essential winter aid for 300 internally displaced families. The distribution was successfully carried out in collaboration with International Blue Crescent (IBC) and the Afghan Red Crescent Office, ensuring safe and fair delivery to the most vulnerable communities.
🧤 What We Provided:
- 5 thermal blankets per family (totaling 1,500 blankets)
- Winter clothing kits containing 18 items per family, including coats, gloves, socks, scarves, and other essential garments
This initiative brought critical relief to families enduring freezing temperatures without adequate shelter. Children, elderly individuals, and struggling parents received warmth, dignity, and hope thanks to our collective efforts.
At OWSEO, we believe in partnership-driven solutions. By working with local and international humanitarian partners, we ensure that our aid reaches those who need it most—efficiently, transparently, and with compassion.
