The center is equipped with five sewing machines and all essential tailoring tools. It currently employs a female manager, a skilled seamstress, and six apprentices, all of whom are women from the local community.
An initial supply of textile materials was provided, enabling the production of garments that are sold to villagers at affordable, community-friendly prices.
🧵 This initiative is designed to foster a sustainable, win-win marketplace—empowering women economically while stimulating the local economy.
OWSEO remains committed to this program by overseeing:
- Recruitment of new apprentices
- Supply chain and logistics
- Day-to-day operations and quality control
✨ This center is more than just a workplace—it’s a safe space for skill-building, empowerment, and long-term economic resilience.
